4.3 Deflation with the vacuum adapter

Press the vacuum adapter (Item no.: 1600 0163 00), with the con-
nection nipple, into the draining valve. Connect the bottle pressu-
re reducer to the bottle valve on the one side and to the vacuum
adapter on the other side. Open the bottle valve and set the back
pressure on the regulator bar of the pressure reducer to approxi-
mately 6 bar. The Rescue path can be quickly packed without dif-
ficulty after deflating by rolling up in the direction of the inflation
valve.

The draining valve must be completely closed
before packing!

4.4 Care and maintenance

The Rescue path and its equipment are to be cleaned each time
after use. Cleaning of the Rescue path is to be carried out with
warm water (max. 30° C) and soap.
The clean Rescue path should be dried at normal room tempera-
ture (15° C). Storage in cool, dry, clean and aerated condition.

Inspection

The fittings and the Rescue Path are to be inspected for perfect
and correct condition before and after every period of use:

The Rescue Path is free of damage, e.g. tears, cuts, punctures,
separations, hard or soft areas caused by chemical or thermal
effects.
