Important preliminary remarks
Only knowledge and exact adherence to these operating instruc-
tions guarantee correct and perfect operation, acheives the grea-
test service and ensures any claims within the Vetter Guarantee.
Each operation / application of the Rescue path is to be made un-
der the condition that this operating manual is carefully adhered
to.
The operating instructions given here are to be regarded as part
of the product and are to be kept for the complete life duration of
the product. In case the product should be passed on to a succes-
sive user then the operating instructions must also be included.

2.2 Area of application
The Rescue path can be used on ice, water, moor, bog land, sand
or other types of surfaces for the rescue of submerged persons
not having any means of support. The guidelines on the sides ena-
ble easy retrieval of persons onto the rescue path.
2.3 Correct handling and usage
Rescue paths are only to be used with compressed air. Only ori-
ginal Vetter inflation fittings are to be used in order to avoid any
excess inflation of the Rescue path.
2.4 Safety instructions
All pertinent state regulations relating to work safety and accident
are to be observed as well as the generally recognized regulations
in the field of technology.
The necessary work protection clothing is to be worn.
