POWER SUPPLY
The device operates on 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries.
1. Slide the battery compartment cover as shown by the arrow, then remove it.
2. Put batteries into the compartment with their respective polarity as marked on battery compartment.
3. Finally replace the battery compartment cover,making sure it is securely fitted.
• Batteries must be replaced when the battery icon
appears on the display. Both batteries must be replaced by a new
ones. You must use alkali batteries only. Ni-Cd/Ni-MH batteries have an output voltage not exceeding 1.2V, which is
insufficient to operate the blood pressure measuring instrument.
• If you do not want to use the device for a long period of time, remove batteries from the battery compartment as they
can leak - caustic electrolyte spilled out may damage the device (in which case the manufacturer’s warranty becomes
void). In order to avoid damage, you must follow these instructions:
• Batteries must be put into the compartment with their correct polarity (+ and -), as marked on the battery
compartment.
• Never use new and used batteries together.
• Never use batteries of different manufacturer and type together.

• Used batteries must immediately be replaced by new ones. If you do not want to use the device for a long time, remove
batteries from the battery compartment.
USING OF APPLIANCE
Control buttons functions
Push button On-/Off “START/STOP”: Pushing the knob pumps up the cuff, followed by blood pressure and pulse
measurement. If the knob is pushed again during any phase of operation, the device will shut down.
Memory recall knobs “MEM”: By pushing these buttons, earlier measurements can be recalled as described in Chapter
“Memory function”.
