POWER SUPPLY

The device must only be plugged into an electric mains supply of 220 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Always check that the site voltage is identical to that indicated on the device nameplate.
The device can only be operated from a mains socket supplied with protective grounding pin
(earthing) and in case of using an extension cable it must also be earthed.

USING OF APPLIANCE

1. Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.

Never leave the nylon packing bag, which is part of the package, within the reach of children who could play
with it.
Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and undamaged condition. Only
perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be connected to the electrical mains.

2. Clean the device as described in section “Maintenance and cleaning of the device”.

3. Put the device on a level, stable table for filling with water.

4. Remove the safety lid of the water tank (subassembly No. 2.) from the filling hole of the tank (subassembly

No. 1) by pressing the middle of the lid with one of your fingers and turning the lid at the same time
anticlockwise.

Attention! The tank lid of the device may only be removed after disconnection, in
a switched off, completely cooled down and depressurized condition. To check the
depressurized condition of the tank please press the operating button. If no steam
is released from the nozzle, then there is no pressure in the tank. If there is steam
discharge from the tank, keep the operating button pressed until there is no further
steam and then leave the device cool down. Check the empty condition of the tank
before filling - in case there is any residual water, pour it out before filling.

5. Use the graduated cup and the funnel for filling the tank, so as to avoid any spilling of the water. Fill the tank

with distilled or deionised water as per the marked maximum level on the side of the graduated cup. Do not
use tap water for filling the tank; this can cause scale deposition and clogging in the tank and it will result in
abnormal operation which will void manufacturer’s warrantee.

6. Following water filling replace the safety lid on the tank and turn it clockwise on the threaded flange until

it clicks. Attention: faulty replacement of the lid and its misfitting can result in damage to the device not
covered by the manufacturer’s warrantee!

7. Put the steaming attachment best fitted to the surface to be cleaned by pushing the wider pipe end of the

attachment on the steaming nozzle until it clicks. The general steaming head (8 c) is suited for cleaning
smaller, and easily accessible surfaces, the universal steaming head and the pull over tissue attachment
