Only use the appliance on a stable, level surface. Keep it away from water and make sure it cannot
accidentally slip or fall. If the appliance comes into contact with any kind of moisture or liquid during use,
immediately unplug it from the mains. Do not touch it or attempt to take it out of the liquid until the mains
plug has been removed from the socket. You must not use the appliance again before having it checked and
repaired by a specialist engineer.

The mains connector must be always disconnected from the wall socket after use and before cleaning. Never
disconnect the appliance from the socket by pulling the mains cable; always grip the plug! After each use of
the appliance, turn it off and unplug it from the mains electricity supply before removing the processed food.
If you are processing a large amount of food in several batches, you should turn off and unplug the appliance
each time while emptying and reloading the attachment.

Never run the appliance empty, with nothing in the coffee chamber.

Never use an appliance or accessory that the manufacturer did not supply with or propose for use with the
appliance. The use of such appliances might lead to accidents or irregular function.

Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot surfaces. Never wrap the mains cable around
the cover of the appliance, do not pull the cable and do not lift the appliance with the mains cable because
the cable can break or the insulation can be damaged. A damaged cable must be replaced by an authorised
service engineer. The appliance must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is damaged.

The use of the appliance must be avoided in areas where the temperature is too high or too low or where the
appliance is subject to vibrations. Avoid using the appliance under wet or vaporous conditions. The appliance
can be used within the temperature range of +10°C to +35°C and stored within the range of +5°C to +40°C.

Don’t put the appliance near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any hot surface.
Don’t place the appliance anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked off accidentally.

Don’t use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.

Do not allow anything to fall into the appliance and do not push anything into the opening of the appliance
as the appliance could be damaged and could cause electrical shock.

Before turning on the equipment, please check that the food processing attachments are properly fitted. Do
not remove any attachments from the food processor by any method whilst the appliance is being operated
or is connected to the mains electricity supply. Before removing any attachment from the equipment, ensure
the engine is at a complete standstill. Never touch the blade of the appliance when rotating at high speed.

The equipment should only be plugged into the mains electricity supply when a bowl attachment
is fitted. During cleaning, never put anything into the base unit sockets into which the attachment
fits, except for the cloth you are using. Do not push anything into the safety switch push-rod
mechanism, as this may result in the inadvertent operation of the appliance.

The appliance should only be used to process food. Non-food items should not be put into the bowl
attachments. The attachments should only be filled to 2/3 of their total capacity (food and liquid combined).
The grinding or mixing of a large amount of food should be performed in several stages, taking into

apply commonsense precautions when using the appliance in a situation that isn’t described below.

This appliance has been designed for household use only, no other (heavy duty) uses are permitted.

Never use the appliance outdoors.

Warning! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains when you’ve finished using it or are
taking a break, even if it’s only for a short period of time.

This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without
experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of
the device, who is at the same time responsible for their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended
to make sure that they do not play with the device. This device is not supposed to be used by children under
the age of 14, not even with supervision!

In order to avoid an electric shock, never dip the equipment or its electric cable or connector into water or
other liquid. Don’t allow water or other liquid to splash onto the engine unit, and do not touch it with wet
hands. Do not operate the equipment near a bowl containing liquid. Always connect the equipment to the
electric network with dry hands. The equipment casing, network cable and connector, as well as the network
socket, must always be dry. Should the equipment fall into water whilst you are operating it, despite you
taking all precautions, you must first unplug it from the mains electricity before touching it. Only take it out
of the liquid after it has been disconnected.
