ADVANCED MODE
Adjusting Water Temperature
Diff erent beans require a diff erent water
temperature to extract their optimum
fl avour.
The Catler ES 8013 allows you to adjust water
temperature ±2°C in 1°C increments from the
default temperature.
To enter Advanced Temperature setting
mode:
1. Turn the machine OFF
2. Press & hold the PROGRAM button, then
press the POWER button.
The machine will beep once. The
illuminated button will indicate current
temperature selected. If no buttons are
pressed within 5 seconds after entering
Advanced Mode, no change will be made
& machine will return to heat-up/stand-
by operation.
3. To select a temperature change, within
5 seconds of entering Advanced Mode,
press the button to select desired
temperature. You will hear 2 beeps to
confi rm the change. If no buttons are
pressed the temperature will remain
unchanged & machine will revert to
STANDBY.
4. Default Temperature setting:
In Advanced Mode, press the PROGRAM
button.
5. Increase Water Temperature +1°C:
In Advanced Mode, press the 1 CUP
button.
6. Increase Water Temperature +2°C:
In Advanced Mode, press the 2 CUP
button.
