2.3 Tare Function
The tare function is used to eliminate the weight of a basket or tray needed to measure
the weight of several objects together.
The scale can accept a maximum tare weight of 1LB. If the tare weight is larger, the
measurement capacity will be reduced by the difference.
1.
Place the tray on the platform and press the [ON/OFF/TARE] key once. The
scale will clear the weight of the tray and reset zero.
2.
Place objects to be weighed into the tray.
3.
Once the tray is no longer needed, press the [ON/OFF/TARE] key again to
reset the scale zero.
