fermenting the
Kimchi
H To ferment two types of Kimchi in one compartment
If you ferment two types of different Kimchi in one compartment, they can be under
fermented or over-fermented. Therefore in this case, select the type that is fermented
faster. Generally, Kimchi is fermented in the order of Broth Kimchi -► Cabbage Kimchi
-► Radish Kimchi
Ex) To ferment 1 container of cabbage Kimchi and 1 container of radish Kimchi on
the bottom compartment
Because the cabbage Kimchi is fermented faster than the radish Kimchi, set it so that
the Ferment cabbage Kimchi button of the bottom compartment is turned on.
if you operating the fermenting function severai times, the Kimchi wiii be too sour.
Because operating the fermenting function several times can make the Kimchi too sour,
operate the rhythm fermenting function only once. Generally, Kimchi is fermented in the
order of Fresh Standard Mature.

To cancel the selected fermenting function, press the mim button so that the © lamp of the
7i^0! button is turned off. Afterwards, press the function selection button to switch to storing in
top compartment and storing in bottom compartment in order to cancel the fermenting function.

If you change the course before the fermenting process is completed or if you run the
fermenting process twice, the Kimchi can turn sour. Therefore please be careful.
m To store the Kimchi that has been fermented:
When the fermenting process is completed, the ferment completion lamp will be turned on
and the Kimchi is automatically stored at the storing temperature preset.
