A-TTL Automatic Mode:

The Speedlite 300EZ features the A (Ad-

vanced)-TTL mode which can be used

under conditions ranging from totai dark
ness to fiil-in fiash.

Fiash output is controiied by directiy

measuring the iight coming through the iens

and refiected from the fiim surface, using

the

sensor

inside

the

camera

body.

Moreover, this A-TTL mode baiances the ex

posure between the main subject ii-

iuminated by the fiash and the background
in ambient iight to prevent unnaturai effects.

The setting for each shooting mode is

siightiy different so piease read the
foilowing carefuily.

The camera-shake warning does

sound when the fiash is turned on.

When the camera is set to the depth-of-
fieid AE mode with the fiash ON, the

mode is automaticaiiy switched to the
program AE mode.
