OFF-SEASON STORAGE
The following steps should be taken to prepare your lawn mower for
storage:
•
Clean and lubricate mower thoroughly as described in the lubrica
tion instructions.
•
Remove any buildup of grass and leaves on or around the motor
cover (do not use water). Wipe the mower clean with a dry cloth.
•
We do not recommend the use of a pressure washer or garden
hose to clean your unit.
•
Make certain the power supply is disconnected.
•
Coat mower’s cutting blade with chassis grease to prevent
rusting.
•
Store mower in a dry, clean area. Do not store next to corrosive
materials, such as fertilizer.
•
Wipe extension cord to remove any foreign substance such as
oil or stains. Replace extension cord it cut or damaged in any way.
•
Wind cord in a series of equal loops on each side of your hand to
prevent snarling.
