ADJUSTMENTS
SQUARING THE SAW BLADE TO THE
FENCE
See Figures 17-20.
■
Unplug your saw.
A WARNING:
Failure to unplug your saw could
result in accidental starting causing possible
serious personal injury.
■
Pull the saw arm all the way down and engage
the lock pin to hold the saw arm in transport
position.
■
Lift the miter table clamp.
■
Rotate the miter table until the pointer is posi
tioned at 0°.
■ ‘Push the miter table clamp back down.
■
Lay a framing square flat on the miter table. Place
one leg of the square agiunst the fence. Slide the
other leg of the square against the flat part of saw
blade.
Note: Make sure that the square contacts the flat
part of the saw blade, not toe Made teeto.

The edge of the square and toe saw blade should
be parallel as shown in figure 17.
■
If toe front or back edge of the saw blade angles
away from toe square as shown in figures 18 and
19, adjustments are needed.
■
Using toe 6 mm hex key provided, loosen toe
socket head screws that secure toe mountirrg
bracket to the miter table. See Figure 20.
■
Rotate the mounting bracket left or right until the
saw blade is parallel wito toe square.
■
Retighten toe screws securely and recheck toe
blade-to-fence alignment.
