For most efficient operation of the refrig­
erator with minimum electrical energy
consumption, defrost when ice/frost is
formed on the walls of the ice making
compartment.
1) Check the layer thickness of the frost /ice
formed on the walls of the ice making com­
partment. If frost is formed on the check level
(as indicated by a red mark), please defrost.
2) Push the “DEF’ button to defrost. Frost on
the surface of the evaporator will begin to
melt and can be easily removed.
3) In order to remove ice from the ice making
compartment, do not use a keen tool, knife
