Labeling a CD
— Disc Memo
(CD changer with custom file function)
You can label each disc with a porst>nalized
name. You can enter up to eight characters for
a disc. If you label a CD, you can locate the
disc by name (page 14) and selc^ct the specific
tracks for playback (page 14).

Play the CD and press ( list ) for two
seconds.

Enter the characters.
O Press C±) to select the desired
characters.

If you press (H), the characters appear
in reverse order.
If you want to enter a blank space
between characters, select (under­
bar).
© Press (2) (—►) after locating the
desired character.
The flashing cursor moves to the next
space.

If you press (T) (<—), the flashing cursor
moves to the left.
© Repeat steps O and © to enter the
entire name.

To return to the normal CD playback
mode, press ( list ) for two seconds.
Tip
To erasefcorrcct a name, enter
(under-bar) for each
dufracter.
Press CDSPL^ during CD playback.

Erasing the disc memo

Select the CD changer (page 11).

Press

for two seconds.

Press (DSPL) for two seconds.

Press or GD to select the name that
you want to erase.

Press CE) (ENTER) for two seconds.
The name is erased.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 if you want to erase
other names.
6 Press (LIST ) for two seconds.
The unit returns to the normal CD playback
mode.
