Using AC power adaptor
Insert the rechargeable battery so
that the word "Discman" is facing
the same direction as illustrated
inside the lid, and close the lid.
Connect the supplied AC power
adaptor to the DC IN 4.5 V jack and a
wall outlet.

For models supplied with the AC plug
adaptor
If the AC power adaptor does not fit the
wall outlet, use the AC plug adaptor.
Using rechargeable
battery
(BP-DM10)
Charge the rechargeable batteries before
using them for the first time.

Open the lid of the battery
compartment.
Connect the AC power adaptor and
charge for about 3 hours.
The indication "CHG" lights up
until charging is completed.

When fully charged, disconnect the
AC power adaptor.
