Device Status Lights
Turns on when you turn on the computer and blinks when the computer is in a power management mode.
Turns on when the computer reads or writes data.
Turns on steadily or blinks to indicate battery charge status.
Beep Codes
The computer may emit a series of beeps during start-up if the display cannot show errors or problems. The following
repetitive beep codes help the user troubleshoot problems with his computer.

System board failure, covers BIOS corruption or ROM
error

No Memory (RAM) detected
1. If you have two or more memory modules
installed, remove the modules, reinstall one
module, and then restart the computer. If the
computer starts normally, reinstall an extra
module. Continue until you have identified a faulty
module or reinstalled all modules without error.
2. If available, install working memory of the same
type into your computer.
3. If the problem persists, possible memory
connector failure.
