Introduction
When the MD3060e is used for server expansion, connected to servers or other MD3060e
enclosures, it is referred to as a Storage Enclosure. This document provides information
about supported software, firmware and hardware for the MD3060e when used as a Storage
Enclosure.
When the MD3060e is used for MD3 Series (MD32/MD36/MD38) Storage Array expansion it is
referred to as an Expansion Enclosure. Refer to the MD3 Series Storage Array support matrix for
information about the MD3060e when used as an Expansion Enclosure.
