Replacing the Power-Adapter Port

Procedure
1
Slide the power-adapter port into position.
2
Route the power-adapter-port cable through the routing guides on the
computer base.
3
Connect the power-adapter-port cable to the system board.
4
Adhere the display cable to the fan.
5
Slide the display cable into the system-board connector and press down on the
connector latch to secure the cable.
6
Adhere the tape to the system board.
Postrequisites
1
Replace the palm-rest. See "Replacing the Palm-Rest" on page 35.

Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 20.

Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 5 in "Replacing the Hard Drive" on
page 27.
