Installation
To attach the SMK-6X Swivel Mount Kit to the TPS-6X-DS and install the assembly
on a suitable mounting surface, refer to the following procedures.
NOTE: The mounting surface thickness must be 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) minimum to
1 3/8 inches (3.50 cm) maximum using the hardware provided.
Preparing the TPS-6X-DS
1. Remove the four screws on the TPS-6X-DS as shown in the first illustration
on the following page.
2. Carefully remove the rear cover.
3. Slide the grommet out of the bottom of the rear cover and cut the grommet
from the cable.
4. Slide the boot up the cable away from the connector as shown in the second
illustration on the following page.
5. Feed the connector, then the boot and finally the full length of the cable
through the bottom cutout in the base of the TPS-6X-DS.
6. Install the blank grommet provided with your TPS-6X-DS into place on the
rear cover.
7. Replace the boot over the connector.
8. Replace the rear cover and the four screws removed in step 1.
