Using the Scanner
2.
Straighten the edges of the stack of documents to be scanned.
CAUTION
• Do not place the documents on top of the scanner to align them.
Doing so may cause a malfunction.
• Be careful when placing a document in the scanner. It is
possible to cut your hand on the edge of a sheet of paper.

Set the document guides so they are wider than the document to be scanned.
IMPORTANT
Do not hold the tips of the document guide adaptors when moving them. Doing
so can damage the document tray.
