You can specify one of five saturation settings from +2 (most saturated) to –2 (least
saturated).
Procedure

You can specify one of five contrast settings from +2 (most contrast between light and
dark) to –2 (least contrast between light and dark).
Procedure

You can specify one of five flash intensity settings, from –2 (weakest) to +2
(strongest).
• Flash intensity may not change when the subject is too far away or too close.
Procedure
[r] (REC) * [MENU] * Quality Tab * Flash Assist
The subject in an image will look
too dark if flash intensity is not
enough to reach a subject that is
too far away. When this happens,
you can use flash assist to
supplement the brightness of the
subject so it appears as if flash
illumination was sufficient. Select
“Auto” to turn on Flash Assist.
