Installation Instructions
1. Power off the two-wire when installing any two-wire device. Leave 24 to 36 inches of slack in
the two-wire at the connection point to allow for easy installation and maintenance.
2. Follow the instructions in the Netafim installation manual to install the flow meter.
3. Connect the red and black wires from the flow biCoder to the corresponding red and black
wires from the two-wire path. Make certain to maintain polarity. All two-wire connections
must have DBR/Y or equivalent moisture-resistant connectors.
4. Follow the instructions in the controller’s user manual to configure each device. For normally
open master valves, configure the master valve as normally open in the controller as
instructed in the controller’s user manual.
Connect the red wire from the
biCoder to the red wire on the
two-wire path. Do the same
for the black wires.
