Section 2 Operating Instructions

Be certain that all tires are properly inflated as listed in
the Tire Inflation Chart in the “Appendix” section on
page 44.
•
Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws when
transporting on public roads.
•
Remember that the air drill cart bins and the wings of the
folded implement can obstruct your view. Be prepared
for sudden maneuvers from following vehicles.
NOTE: Never remove cylinder lock channels from a
folded implement.
Parking
The following steps should be performed when parking the
drill. Refer to Storage under the “Maintenance and Lu-
brication” section on page 39 for information on long term
storage preparation.
1.
Raise and lock implement in storage position.
2.
Place implement on a firm level area.
3.
Securely block the drill tires to prevent rolling.
4.
Unhook electrical lines and install plugs as provided.
5.
Release pressure on the hydraulic system, then dis-
connect hydraulic lines. Be sure the ends do not rest
on the ground.
