9 Installation Instructions
Right-Hand Drive
Refer to Figure 12
1. Remove U-joint (1) from shaft by driving out
roll pin. Drive out remaining roll pins and re-
move inner shaft (2) from drill. Discard inner
shaft.
2. Remove drive chains (3). Remove drive
sprocket (4) from outer shaft. Drive out re-
maining roll pins. Disassemble the clutch link
(5) from clutch.
3. Disassemble clutch (6) from outer shaft by
compressing the spring and sliding out the
dowel pin. Remove and discard outer shaft
(7). Save the clutch for later re-assembly onto
center drive.

4. Replace the discarded shafts with the 6-foot
shaft provided in the kit. As you install the new
shaft, slide the new clutch provided in kit onto
the shaft. Assemble new clutch on shaft in the
same orientation as the old clutch.
5. Secure clutch to shaft. Re-assemble drive
sprocket on shaft. Re-install roll pins. Re-
route drive chains. Re-assemble clutch link.
Re-install U-joint.
