4. Assemble drive sprocket (7) and the acreme-
ter (8) onto the new 23 11/16" shaft (9). Install
the shaft by sliding it through the bearings on
the left and center bearing brackets.

5. Assemble breakaway jaw (10) onto new
23 7/16" shaft (11). Loosen nuts on flanges at
the right bearing bracket. Install shaft through
far-right bearing.
6. Assemble reworked clutch (12) onto 23 7/16"
shaft.
7. Slide clutch adaptor (13) over the end of the
23 11/16" shaft. Secure shafts by re-installing
roll pins and retightening bolts on bearing
flange.
8. Align breakaway jaws for proper contact. Re-
fer to "Align Transfer Drive Shaft," under Lev-
eling the Drill, Drill Preparation and Setup in
the 3000-3S operator’s manual.
9. Re-install drive chains.
