SmartShield
The Rainford SmartShield range consists of two different systems:
SmartShield MS (Modular Sandwich) System
Technical:
Constructed from two galvanised steel plates which sandwich a wood‐
en core of 19mm. The wooden core which can be supplied as moisture
resistant or non‐flammable is laminated to the steel skins by a long
las ng and durable adhesive. The panels are connected to each other
by means of a ‘hat and baton’ clamping system which is forqued to the
required level.

System
Technical:
Constructed from preformed trays using 2mm thick zinc coated mild
steel. The panels are connected to each other by means of a ‘double P’
shaped TCS ( nned copper steel) gasket which is compressed between
two sheets with bolts every 100mm.
