The
LED
array
is
divided
in
two
parts.
Each
part
is
powered
by
a
separate
LED
driver.
One
of
the
two
drivers
is
connect-­‐ed
to
a
Bodine
ELI-­‐S-­‐20
20W
Backup
micro
inverter.
Under
normal
conditions,
both
drivers
are
powered
from
mains
and
the
light
output
and
distribution
of
the
EM
fixtures
is
identi-­‐
cal
to
the
regular
fixtures.
In
the
event
of
power
outage,
the
Bodine
Micro
Inverter
will
power
for
at
least
90
minutes
one
of
the
2
LED
drivers
that
will
illuminate
50%
of
the
LEDs
(which
results
in
50%
of
the
total
light
output
of
the
system).
This
Bodine
solution
is
UL
924
LISTED,
for
Factory
and
Field
(retrofit)
installation
