6.3 Assembly
Insert O-ring 412/2 using a feeler gauge (0.3 mm).
Screw on support 732 loosely at first.
Screw lock nut 920/07 onto transition pipe 721/1.
Screw transition pipe into the support until it is
centered.
Secure support finally. Tightening torque 10 Nm.
Screw in transition pipe until the plastic lining is
firmly positioned, i.e. can no longer be turned.
Then screw in the transition pipe further until its
flange bores are at 45° to the axis.
Secure transition pipe with lock nut. Tightening
torque 50 Nm.
Check with a gauge (approx. 2 mm Ø) whether
there is a free passage into the plain bearing ped-
estal.
Further assembly in accordance with the drawing in
Section 7.1.
