11.2 Firmware Upgrade
The RP-8000‘s firmware can be updated. Possible firmware updates will be offered by Reloop via www.reloop.com. This guarantees that your
turntable can be updated with new features and inprovements in the future.

1. Make sure that the RP-8000 is turned off (see setting ON/OFF Button -3-) and connected via USB to your computer.
2. Press and hold the USER Button and TRAX Encoder -26- and turn on the RP-8000.
3. Now release both buttons. The pitch LC display will read “Update”.
4. Start the upgrade program contained on the included CD.
5. Select the correct firmware file and press “Start”. The upgrade will now be carried out. After carrying it out successfully turn the RP-8000 off/on.

NOTE! Please observe that Java Runtime Environment is installed on your computer to carry out the update. Further information can be found
under www.java.com.

11.3 Expanded MIDI Functions
By pressing and holding the TRAX En-
coder and the SAMPLE Button while
simultaneously turning on the turntab-
le, you will reach the setup menu. Each
Drum Pad features a function that can
be turned on/off. If the respective pad is
lit, the function is activated. If it is not
lit, the function is deactivated.
