Problem
No power
LED’s say redo
Element is not closing
Crimp quality is poor
Wire elements are tangled coming out of the box
Element is not closing fully or to much
Wire seam is in the front
Power cord has been lost
Solution
Check to make sure unit is plugged in
Press and hold the bind buttons for one full second
Check wire size selection
A. Check quality of different size wire
B. Check condition of hooks, if necessary install a new hook as
described in the unpacking and setup section of this manual,
Hook replacement kit P/N 7301340, 2 per kit
Drop them on a table top and they will untangle
Fine tune the knob as more or less as needed
Bind the book with the seam between the back cover and last page
Contact an authorized GBC Technician, order replacement part
