CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
– After filling your kettle, place it on the base unit
(

), making sure that the body fits on the 360°
contact housing (
➑
) on the base unit (
➒
).
– Connect the power plug to the power supply and
push the ON/OFF lever (
➏
) down.
NOTE: Ensure that the ON/OFF lever is clear
of obstructions and the cap is closed tightly.
SWITCHING OFF
– Your kettle is fitted with an ON / OFF switch which
automatically switches off once the water has
boiled.
– You can turn off the power by lifting the ON / OFF
lever (
➏
) up at any time. The kettle can also be
switched off automatically by removing the kettle
body from the base at any time.
NOTE: The kettle can not be turned off
manually if the switch is obstructed or the
ON / OFF lever is held down.
POURING WATER
– To remove the kettle from the base (
➒
), grasp the grip (
➌
) and hold the
body horizontally while lifting clear of the base unit (
➒
).
– The spout cap (
➋
) shall be removed before pouring.
– Pour water from the hole in the top cover (
➎
).
NOTE: Please be careful when pouring water from the kettle as
boiling water may scald.
SWITCHING THE KETTLE ON AGAIN
– The kettle can be switched on again at any time when the kettle has been
turned off manually.
– You can switch the kettle on again provided the built-in thermal safety
switch has had enough time to cool down.
