Mini Water Softeners
Sizes: 4K and 8K
Watts offers two sizes of mini water softeners for the removal
of CaCO3 (hardness) from the incoming feed water supply. The
mini water softener is designed to prevent scale build-up due to
hard water.
The Watts mini water softener can be used for commercial tea
or espresso machines and steamers or as a pretreatment for
small reverse osmosis units for the home and office.
Watts 4K and 8K mini water softeners eliminate the problems
caused by hard water on tea and espresso equipment, plus
greatly enhance the quality of the finished product.
4K Mini Water Softener
Will remove up to 68,000 parts per million of CaCO3 from the
incoming water supply before regeneration.
Guidelines for regeneration:
CaCO3 = 5 grains (Treats 800 gal/3,028 liters)
CaCO3 = 10 grains (Treats 400 gal/1,514 liters)
CaCO3 = 15 grains (Treats 266 gal/1,006 liters)
Tank size: 7" D x 15.5" H
Max Flow Rate: 7 gpm/26 lpm
8K Mini Water Softener
Will remove up to 136,800 parts per million of CaCO3 from the
incoming water supply before regeneration.
Guidelines for regeneration:
CaCO3 = 5 grains (Treats 1601 gal/6,060 liters)
CaCO3 = 10 grains (Treats 800 gal/3,028 liters)
CaCO3 = 15 grains (Treats 533 gal/2,017 liters)
Tank size: 7" D x 20.5" H (178 mm x 521 mm)
Max Flow Rate: 9 gpm/34 lpm
