Cineo TruColor lamphead cables use a keyed Amphenol 7 pin connection type to control both
power and data between the TruColor HS lamphead and power supply.
Do not connect or disconnect lamphead cable when the PSU power is on.
Maximum rated cable length between lamphead and power supply is 400ft (140m). Please
reference the Cineo TruColor HS catalogue for available cable lengths.
Cineo DX450 Power Supply
All power and system controls for the TruColor HS lamphead are located on the Cineo DX450
power supply.
The DX450 can be operated via local control or DMX. Ensure the DMX address is set to “000”
to operate in local control. Setting a DMX address between 001 and 998 will automatically
put the DX450 in DMX mode. Regardless of local or DMX control, the dimmer controls light
output from 10% to 100% without color shift.
The DX450 handle is safety rated for mounting hardware. Reference the Cineo TruColor
HS catalogue for various mounting options. The DX450 is IP20 rated for indoor use in a dry
environment.
Power Connections
AC Power In: The IEC power cable connects to the HS PSU via this port.
AC Fuse Holder: An AC fuse is located under the fl ip-out panel.
NOTES:
1. Ensure the power cable is disconnected before servicing.
2. Do not connect to a variable supply, such as a dimmer rack or inverter.
3. The power cable should be plugged into the PSU before switching the power ON. The
PSU should be switched OFF before removing the power cable.
