11. Install the Muffler into the base of the Y Pipe.
Secure with a clamp. (See step 13)
12. Determine whether or not you need to
cut the Adapter Pipe with Offset. The off-
set will be installed towards the catalytic
converter.
13. Install the Adapter Pipe with Offset
Piece. It may be easier to remove the
Muffler and install the Adapter Pipe
with Offset into the Catalytic Converter
and then re-install the Muffler.
14. Install Hanger A onto the Adapter
Pipe.
15. You will need to measure the Adapter
Pipe to the correct length, keeping in
mind that you will need to have an ex-
tra 3 inches of overlap when you cut the
pipe. Do not cut the flared end.
16.Return to each of the Clamps
and tighten with a 9/16” wrench.
Again do not over tighten Clamps.
Having any part of the exhaust sys-
tem in direct contact with any part of
the body or chassis will the cause the
exhaust to rattle.
