RAPID FLOW INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION OF THE BULLY DOG RAPID FLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM
Important: Do not over-tighten Clamps. too much torque will result in deformation of the exhaust. For best results
when doing the installation, tighten the Clamps enough to hold the exhaust pieces in place, but don’t tighten down until
the entire exhaust system is installed.
1. It is suggested that before installing the system on the truck, the
Rapid Flow Exhaust System be laid out on a large flat surface to
acknowledge the location of each piece.
2. Hang each of the hangers. Hanger A is welded onto the Down Pipe
so skip it for now. Hanger B and C will serve as a dual purpose, serv-
ing as both hangers and clamps. Hanger B will be at the front of the
Muffler and Hanger C will be at the rear of the Muffler. Hanger D
will hold the Tail Pipe Tip.
3. Install the Down Pipe by hanging it from the hanger and securing it
to the turbo with the stock band clamp. When installing the Down
Pipe in order to get it to seal correctly with the turbo, you may need
to loosen a bolt that is holding the Hanger A Grommet in place.
Once everything is lined up and the stock band clamp is tighten,
then tighten back up the bolt that is holding the Hanger A Grom-
met.
4. Install the Adapter and secure with a clamp.
