Scan Tech has created a new web based course in safe use of water jets for industry and
offshore. The course is in pursuance of the (Norwegian)Directorate of Labour
Inspection’s regulation number 515, which specifies that anyone using a water jet shall
undergo a course in safe use of the equipment. Scan Tech now offers an interactive
version of the course which is a cost-effective investment in personnel safety. The
course is user-friendly and takes a mere half hour to complete. The programme requires
the student to answer a number of questions, and after having passed the test the
employee is given a course certificate. If your business uses water jets and does not
have approved training for its personnel, this is an efficient and simple way of providing
training.
