11- Using the supplied 8” cable tie, secure the MAP sensor to the injector and coil wires as shown in Picture 6.
12- Using the supplied 4” cable tie, secure IATS and Throttle Position Sensor wires as shown in Picture 7.
13- Install the supplied gas tank mat on the under side of the gas tank as shown in Picture 8. Proper installation is crucial for sufficient adherence
of the tank mat. Ambient temperatures should be between 60°F and 85°F. Tank pad should be allowed 24 hours to set up.
A- Some tanks may have overspray on the bottom of the tank; this area needs to be scuffed to remove any loose material that would prevent
proper adhesion.
B- The underside of the tank should be thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a clean lint free rag.
C- Remove the adhesive backing and install the tank pad by touching the center down first and working to the outer edges. This will minimize
air bubbles. Do not bend the material more than necessary. The adhesive is pressure activated and requires firm pressure followed by 24
hours for a full cure. A small roller or screw driver handle works well to firmly press the material in place.
D- Ideally, the adhesive should be cured for 24 hours with the tank upside down (tank mat facing upward). The motorcycle should not be run
within 24 hours of applying the tank mat due to a risk of poor adhesion.
14- Install remaining parts, reversing the order of removal and following instructions in your Victory service manual section Engine Removal &
Installation.
15- It is required the Engine Control Module (ECM) be reprogrammed by an authorized S&S/Victory® dealer using the S&S Freedom® Tuner which is
available to authorized S&S/Victory dealers only. The S&S Freedom Performance tuner comes complete with instructions for ECM re-programming
and has a list of calibrations that are legal for downloading into 50-State pollution controlled motorcycles. Failure to download the 50-State
calibration listed for your motorcycle is in violation of CA and federal laws and may result in fines and penalties.

16- Test drive vehicle to ensure proper operation and verify that there are no leaks.
