10- Install the intake air hose, intake air temp sensor connector, and breather hose to the back plate as shown in Picture 8, using the stock wire
clamps.
11- Place the gasket onto the back plate using two ¼-20 x 3/4 socket head cap screws to hold the gasket in place as shown in Picture 9.
12- Install the third ¼-20 x 3/4 socket head cap screw and torque all three bolts to 80-90 in-lbs.
NOTE: Make sure to align back plate bore with adaptor plate bore before tightening bolts for best performance.
13- Place the air filter onto the back plate as shown in Picture 10.
14- Install the teardrop air cleaner cover using three ¼-20 x 1" pan head screws. Apply Loctite® 243 and torque to 35-45 in-lbs.
15- Reinstall the fuel tank & seat according to the Honda® factory service manual.
