Directions for Cutting: Lift the blade assembly off the

base and put aside. Make sure the support cradle is

seated at the bottom of the base. Position the food to be

wedged in the center of the support cradle. Line up the

green handles with the green blade guides, and fit the

blades into the blade guide slots. When ready to wedge,

use both hands to push the blade assembly all the way

down, then dump the wedges out. If the wedges seem

stuck, simply remove the blade assembly and raise

the support cradle to retrieve

the wedges. Clean out excess

food from the blades and

support cradle before cutting

again, if necessary.

Cleaning: Dishwashing is

recommended. If you must

clean by hand, always use a

brush or other tool around the sharp blade assembly.

Tips & Tricks

food items should fit comfortably

inside the support cradle (3" dia. or

less). never forcibly push items into

the support cradle or base. If the fit is

too snug, Wedgie can’t cut.

To help center items, try raising the

support cradle first, positioning the

item into it, then seating the support

cradle back into the base for cutting. You can also use the

point of the blades to keep slender or lopsided items in

place just before cutting.

Citrus (lemons, limes, small oranges): Indispensable at the

bar and for seafood! Cut the ends off first for easier wedging.

Tough citrus rinds may still take some strength to push through.

Caution: Do not look into Wedgie when wedging citrus, as

juice may squirt up into the eyes.

Onions: Peel to size and cut off top

and bottom ends off before wedging.

Sensational for shish kabob!

Potatoes: Choose small to medium-size

potatoes as they wedge more easily.

Terrific for steak fries!

Tomatoes: Remove the blossom end and any attached stem

before wedging. fantastic for salads!

Squash (Cucumber, Zucchini): Trim ends, then cut the length

in half. Insert one tapered end into the support cradle. Use

the point of the blades to keep the half in place if necessary.

Excellent for crudité platters!
