MK-190 Wet Diamond Core Bit Usage Instructions

The drill must be used with water-cooling at all times.

This can be done by the following methods:

1. Tile Attached to Wall

• Spraying water onto the surface.

• Using a wet sponge.

• Attaching water feed device to allow a constant stream of water to run down the tile and into tar-

get hole.

2. Loose Tile or Horizontal Surface

• Pour water onto tile and create a small puddle over the intended position of the hole, drill

“through” the water and the spiral feed will draw water to the cutting edge as the hole is drilled.

Recommended Drilling Method

• Start Spindle : The diamond drill needs to be at full power and recommended RPM before the

drill bit is in contact with tile.

• Start Drilling at a 45-degree angle to avoid skating on the tile.

• Once a groove has been made, slowly raise the drill bit up to a horizontal level while applying

light downward pressure, then continue drilling.

• Drilling force should be kept at low pressure, up to max 12-15kg.

• Minimal oscillation of the drill during cutting aids drill life, this assists with cooling and cutting de-

bre removal.

• The MK-190 Diamond tile drill will work with all power units, however due to watercooling we

would recommend use of cordless power tools.
