It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including
pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the
motorcycle. Küryakyn will not provide warranty coverage on
products or components lost due to improper installation or
lack of maintenance. Periodic inspection and maintenance
are required on all fasteners.
USING THE TECH-CONNECT POUCH
Protect the clear window from damage, tools may scratch
the window surface.
STEP 6 There are two different thicknesses of foam padding included with the
Tech-Connect Pouch. The thinner pad will be used with most devices,
the thicker pad with the super thin devices.
NOTE:
The foam inserts included fit inside the pouch and can be cut-to-
fit to secure smaller GPS units as well as other small electronics
or accessories. PIC 5
STEP 7
To remove the Tech-Connect Pouch from the bike for storage, loosen
the nylon tension nut on the back side of the holder until it clears the
threads. PIC 6 Snap the Tech-Connect Pouch off of the ball. PIC 7
Remove the nylon tension nut from the ball stud and thread it to the
Tech-Connect Pouch for storage.
STEP 8 To replace the Tech-Connect Pouch on the swivel ball, remove the nylon
tension nut from the back of the Pouch. Slide the tension nut over the
swivel ball, snap the Tech-Connect Pouch back on the swivel ball and
thread the tension nut onto the Tech-Connect Pouch. Tighten the
tension nut to the desired resistance on the ball stud.
STEP 9 To adjust the angle of the Tech-Connect Pouch, loosen the nylon
tension nut, adjust the Tech-Connect Pouch to the desired position and
tighten the tension nut. PIC 6 The tension nut will allow you to keep the
Tech-Connect Pouch in the same position or, with a little less tightness,
allow you to move the Tech-Connect Pouch on the swivel ball.
ENSURE THAT THERE IS CLEARANCE AT ALL POINTS
WHEN THE HANDLEBARS ARE TURNED.
INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO
THE MOTORCYCLE OR CAN CAUSE LOSS OF
CONTROL THAT COULD RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY
OR DEATH.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE OR REMOVE THE
MOBILE DEVICE FROM THE POUCH WHILE OPERATING THE MOTORCYCLE.
Ensure that the Mobile Device is secure in the Tech-Connect Pouch. Küryakyn is not
responsible for any Device that is stolen or damaged from use in this Pouch or from
the Pouch not being properly secured to the motorcycle. It is the installer’s

The Tech-Connect Pouch is not waterproof. Remove the Mobile Device and stow
during inclement weather. Küryakyn will not be responsible for any Mobile Device
damaged when using this Pouch.
Motorcycling can be done in a harsh environment. Make sure your Mobile Device is
appropriate for this application.
