INSTALL THE FORK COVERS:



STEP 7

Determine the clutch-side (left) and brake-side (right) Fork Deflectors and
Lower Fork Covers. PIC 6


STEP 8

Clip the clutch-side Fork Deflector over the lower fork tube (

). Spin it clock-

wise until the screw holes are facing the outside (

), then slide the Deflector

down (

) as shown in PIC 7.


STEP 9

Position the clutch-side (left) Lower Fork Cover over the lower portion of the
fork. PIC 8



STEP 10

Secure the Lower Fork Cover to the Fork Deflector with two of the screws
from

STEP 5

. Leave the screws snug for now.


STEP 11

Turn the Set Screw (in the bottom of the Fork Cover) clockwise until it contacts the
Centering Bung. While turning the Set Screw, push in on the bottom of the cover
until you feel the Set Screw “center” in the Bung. Leave the Set Screw snug for
now.

NOTE:

Ensure that the ABS sensor wires are free and clear of the
clutch-side Fork Cover. Loosen the two top screws and gently
“twist” the Fork Cover to achieve proper clearance between
the fender and fork cover. Re-tighten the screws.

STEP 12

Ensure that there is clearance between any moving and stationary parts, then
tighten the two screws from

Tighten the Set Screw from

Repeat

STEPS 8 through 13

for the brake-side (right).



STEP 15

Ensure that all fasteners are tight and that the Covers and
Deflectors will not interfere with the proper operation of
the motorcycle BEFORE riding. Roll the bike and com-
press the front suspension to confirm clearance of all
moving parts.

INSTALLATION

It is the end user’s responsibility to
ensure that all of the fasteners
(including pre-assembled) are tight-
ened before operation of the motorcy-
cle. Küryakyn will not provide war-
ranty coverage on products or compo-
nents lost due to improper installation
or lack of maintenance. Periodic in-
spection and maintenance is required
on all fasteners.
