BIKE PREP:
STEP 2
Carefully remove the amber fork reflectors from both forks. They will not be
reused. Slide both of the OEM fork deflectors up (
1 ), then gently pull them
off the forks ( 2 ). PIC 1 Set them aside; they will not be reused.
ASSEMBLE THE MOUNTING HARDWARE:
STEP 3 Carefully slide one of the included O-rings over one of the Centering Bungs.
PIC 2 Ensure the O-ring locates in the groove
in the Bung. Repeat for the
other Bung.
STEP 4 Lube the O-ring with a shot of glass cleaner, then insert the Centering Bungs
into the recessed screw holes in the bottom of the forks as shown in PIC 3.
Ensure the O-rings stay in the grooves and push the Bungs in until they con-
tact the bottom of the forks.
STEP 5
Put one of the included Flat Washers over one of the M5 screws. PIC 4 Repeat for the other
screws. Set the screws within arms reach of the work area.
STEP 6 Insert one of the included Set Screws into the bottom of both of the Lower Fork Covers. Thread
the Set Screw into the cover until it is just below the surface of the weldnut. PIC 5
