3.8.2 Managing sensor configuration files
It is also possible to load a configuration file stored in the PC onto the HMG 3000 or to store
a configuration file stored in the HMG 3000 onto your PC.
• Click on the "SMART-Sensors" dialogue box.
• "SMART sensor“ opens in a new window.
• Establish a link to the SMART sensor and switch on the pass-through mode, as
described in 2.6 Establishing a link with the SMART sensor or 2.6.2.
• After establishing the link, select "Sensor configuration files“ on the left of the
window.
• On the right of the window "Configuration files" appears and all of the sensor
configuration files stored on the HMG are listed.
• Click on "Upload", to transfer a file saved on your PC to the HMG.
• Click on "Save", to likewise save a file stored on the HMG onto your PC.
• Click on "Update", to display the changes carried out in the HMG.
3.9 Sensor dialogue
Important: The sensor dialogue is only possible if this is supported by the SMART-Sensor.
• Click on the dialogue box "SMART sensors".
• "SMART sensor“ opens in a new window.
• Establish a link to the SMART sensor and switch on the pass-through mode, as
described in 2.6 Establishing a link with the SMART sensor or 2.6.2.
• After establishing the link, select, "Sensor dialogue" on the left hand of the window.
• On the right of the window, the main menu appears with the menu points which
correspond to the menu points of the particular sensor.
• The continuing menu navigation corresponds to the menu navigation of the particular
SMART sensor. For further instructions please consult the operating instructions of
your SMART sensors.
