Never pressurize the back of a disconnected male coupler half.
Serious personal injury could result if the coupler fails while under
pressure. All couplers must be correctly and completely fastened
together before applying pressure. Never attempt to connect or
disconnect couplers while under pressure.
1. Keep dust caps on couplers when not in use. Use every precaution to
guard against dirt entering the system.
2. Make sure all coupler threads are in good condition. Do not use any
coupler that has been damaged.
3. All coupler threads, male or female, must be kept clean.
4. Do not use Tefl on tape on threaded areas. The threads must make
solid metal-to-metal contact to prevent leaks.
