3. Once the Quick Change Clip follower is locked
back, a maximum of 15 BBs can be inserted into
the Quick Change Clip. This is accomplished by
opening the BB retainer door so that the BBs can
be individually inserted into the Quick Change Clip
as shown in Fig. 8
CAUTION: Use only Daisy
®
Max Speed™, or
similar quality BBs that are labeled as such. Do not
use lead pellets, buck shot, darts, ball bearings, or
other foreign objects because they can cause injury
to someone or may damage and/or jam the pistol.
4. Before inserting Quick Change Clip back into gun,
slowly release the Quick Change Clip follower to
allow it to rest up against the BBs. This will allow
the BBs to be under spring tension (see Fig. 9).
CAUTION: Be sure that the Quick Change Clip
follower is released slowly, especially if the Quick Change Clip is not completely
filled with 15 BBs. If the Quick Change Clip follower is allowed to “snap” up against
the BBs, the BBs will tend to “eject” out of the Quick Change Clip. This may cause
personal injury to someone.
NOTE: SLOWLY RELEASE QUICK CHANGE CLIP FOLLOWER – DO NOT
ALLOW TO SNAP FORWARD.
STEP 4. INSERT QUICK CHANGE BB
CLIP INTO GUN
The Quick Change Clip must be inserted
into the gun by positioning the front end of
the Quick Change Clip into the gun first
(near the front sight). The rear end can then
be snapped into position as shown in Fig.
10. The front end should
always be inserted
into the gun first to insure proper operation.
