Demonstration of HDD failure
1. Your S2VR manager will monitor your S2VR HD and will notify you in the event of a problem.
2. Your S2VR manager will provide a real time monitor of the rebuilding progress.
WHEN A DRIVE FAILURE OCCURS:
1. The 5
th
drive of your S2VR HD will server as hot spare drive, and replace the failed drive.
2. Drives’ order would be changed after the rebuilding process, (for example: When drive # 3 failed, Drive # 5
will now serve as drive # 3)
3. Service your drive ASAP.
Important Note: Always back up your important data! Having another copy of your important work is always
and highly recommended.
