5.17 adjuST TuRNTabLE bRakE

The height of the rear roller wheels can be adjusted to

provide more support for the trailer base. Check the rear

roller wheels periodically and make sure that they are

touching the turntable base. If there is a gap, adjust the

wheels. If your machine vibrates excessively when it is

towed, this is also an indication that the rear roller wheels

should be adjusted.
To adjust the rear roller wheels:

Rotate the feed chute until it is above the hitch and

lock in place.
Push down on the feed chute and keep applying

pressure while the wheels are adjusted.
loosen the 5/8 x 2-1/2" hex bolt that holds the wheel

to the frame.
Adjust the wheel upward until it touches the trailer

Tighten the 5/8 x 2-1/2" hex bolt to proper torque.

Repeat for the second rear roller wheel.

Check the turntable brake and adjust if necessary

Periodically check the turntable brake to make sure it

properly grips the turntable base.
To adjust the turntable brake:

Remove the brake cover by removing the four (4) 5/16

x 5/8" hex bolts.
loosen the two (2) 5/16 x 5/8" bolts shown below.

Adjust the brake vertically by moving the handle up or

retighten the 5/16 x 5/8" bolts.

Rotate the turntable and check the brake in five or six
