another, etc. without having to touch your keyboard.
The buttons programming is particularly useful, for example, when
entering data into a database: you can program the command
to get to the next field and program the to
move the cursor to the next row. When entering amounts in a
spreadsheet, you can program the keying of the currency ("$", etc.).
In your word processor, you will program the key to make
a carriage return and start a new paragraph, etc. These are only a
few examples...
You can program the single and double clicks of each button, four
operations can be programmed in total.
To program the pen buttons:
• Click on Program the pen buttons in the IRISPen Palette
or select Pen buttons from the Settings menu.
By default, the buttons are programmed as follows:
Left button:
- single click:
- double click:
Right button:
- single click:
- double click:
