GLE SWITCH CONTROLLING PLATFORM MOVEMENT DOES NOT RETURN TO THE ‘OFF’ OR
NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN RELEASED.
TO AVOID A COLLISION AND INJURY IF PLATFORM DOES NOT STOP WHEN A CONTROL
SWITCH OR LEVER IS RELEASED, REMOVE FOOT FROM FOOTSWITCH OR USE EMERGENCY
STOP SWITCH TO STOP THE MACHINE.
Swinging the Boom
To swing boom, use Main Lift/Swing controller to select RIGHT or
LEFT direction.
Raising and Lowering the Tower Boom
To raise or lower the Tower Boom, use Tower Boom Lift switch to
select UP or DOWN movement.
Raising and Lowering the Main Boom
To raise or lower the Main Boom, use Main Boom Lift switch to
select UP or DOWN movement.
Telescoping the Main Boom
To extend or retract the main boom, use the Main Telescope Con-
trol Switch to select IN or OUT movement.
4.8 FUNCTION SPEED CONTROL
This control affects the speed of all boom functions to the right of
the control and, also, Platform Level. When in the Counterclock-
wise maximum position, Drive and all boom functions are placed
in creep speed.
