OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
The following numbers correspond to those in Figure 6-
4., Operator Maintenance & Lubrication Diagram.
LUBRICATION INTERVALS ARE BASED ON MACHINE OPERATION
UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS. FOR MACHINES USED IN MULTI-SHIFT
OPERATIONS AND/OR EXPOSED TO HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTS OR CON-
DITIONS, LUBRICATION FREQUENCIES MUST BE INCREASED ACCORD-
INGLY.
NOTE:
It is recommended as a good practice to replace all filters
at the same time.
1. Torque Hubs
Lube Point(s) - 1 Fill Plug per hub
Capacity -
Lube - EPGL
Interval - Check oil level at side plug on hub weekly.
Change after first 3 months or 150 hours then every 2
years or 1200 hours of operation.
Comments - Place Fill port at 12 o’clock position and
pour lubricant into fill port until it just starts to flow out of
check port when it’s at the 3 o’clock position.

tion GL-5 or MIL-Spec MIL-L-2105

Hydraulic Oil. API service classification GL-3, e.g. Mobilfluid 424.

Engine (crankcase) Oil. Gas - API SF, SH, SG class, MIL-L-2104.
Diesel - API CC/CD class, MIL-L-2104B/MIL-L-2104C.
